Helping Hands of West Islip, New York is a nonprofit organization that extends themselves to children of local families that desperately need everyday items through the year. They focus on not only providing necessary items, but instilling old-fashioned values and sensitivity in young people to help others in underserviced populations. Praxis supported their Summer/Fall season event. We shopped locally for back packs and filled them with beach towels, flip flops, jump ropes, balls, chalk and nonperishable kids meals. Our team put the items together in our Bohemia office and delivered the full backpacks to the President of Helping Hands of West Islip, Jennifer Gallozzi. Praxis supports the organization all year, and during the holiday season we donate toys.
